Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts in Houston seeks a Barback to assist bartenders and wait staff by expediting service, replenishing supplies, and keeping the bar area clean and organized. You will stock, know the liquors and beers offered, and help ensure guest satisfaction with prompt, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Physically able to bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must possess a current State Vendor’s Permit.
• Previous bar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bar setup and opening, and closing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stock bar stations to par and maintain liquor levels.
• Maintain clean glassware.
• Familiarize self with liquors and beers sold.
• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Support bartenders and servers with a calm, courteous attitude.
