Pouring With Heart is seeking a Barback for Three Star Bar in San Antonio, TX. You’ll back up bartenders by stocking, organizing, and keeping the bar ready for service. The role is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a clear path to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous barback or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic, organization, and the ability to move with urgency.
• Comfortable with fast-paced, physically demanding environments.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Passion for hospitality, curiosity to learn, and commitment to growth.
• Must be 21+ and have valid certifications for responsible beverage service (varies by state).

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders by keeping the bar stocked, organized, and spotless each shift.
• Anticipate restocking for spirits, beer, juice, syrups, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain ice bins and bar tools for smooth service flow.
• Assist with prep tasks like juicing, garnishes, and batching syrups.
• Help with breakdown, cleaning, and resetting the bar after service.
• Learn cocktail ingredients, spirits, and service techniques for growth.
• Follow health, safety, and compliance standards including responsible alcohol service.
• Work as a team player with floor staff, bartenders, and bar leadership.
