Torsap Thai Kitchen in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a dedicated Barback to support the bartending team. Ideal candidates are physically fit, have a hustle-first mentality, and possess at least one year of experience in a high-volume bar. Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume or upscale bar/restaurant preferred.
• Hustle-first mentality and obsessive attention to detail.
• Physically fit — able to lift 50 lbs and move quickly in tight spaces.
• Respectful communication style and calm presence under pressure.
• Availability for weekends, late nights, and special events.
• TABC and Food Handler certifications (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar stock: refill liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and glassware.
• Support bartenders with setup and breakdown during shifts.
• Keep bar stations clean, organized, and fully supplied at all times.
• Remove trash, bus bar areas, and manage dish bins.
• Polish glassware, prep garnishes, and assist with bar tools.
• Restock backup bottles, napkins, straws, and all bar materials.
• Assist with deliveries, inventory organization, and stock rotation.
• Support whiskey tasting setups and private events.
• Follow all health and safety codes.
