Job summary

EOS Hospitality in Florida is seeking a barback to maintain a clean and organized bar area and to support bartenders during peak hours. The role involves restocking, preparation of garnishes, and ensuring ice and glassware availability throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and a strong focus on cleanliness and teamwork. This is an on-site position with opportunities for growth within the EOS Hospitality Group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be of legal age to handle alcoholic beverages in Florida

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies throughout the shift.
• Prepare garnishes and assist in the setup of the bar before opening.
• Assist bartenders by retrieving items, changing kegs, and ensuring ice bins are filled.
• Collect and wash used glassware and utensils promptly.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables, ensuring waste bins are emptied regularly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a sanitary work environment.
• Collaborate with the bartending team to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
