Job summary

EOS Hospitality is hiring at our Pompano Beach resort to support the bar team as a Bar Back. You will maintain the bar area, restock supplies, prepare garnishes, and assist bartenders during service.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy items, stand long hours, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer comprehensive training, opportunities for advancement, and employee discounts across our Marriott properties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies throughout the shift.
• Prepare garnishes and assist in the setup of the bar before opening.
• Assist bartenders by retrieving items, changing kegs, and ensuring ice bins are filled.
• Collect and wash used glassware and utensils promptly.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables, ensuring waste bins are emptied regularly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a sanitary work environment.
• Collaborate with the bartending team to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
