Four Seasons Nashville is seeking a Bar Back to support exceptional bar and restaurant service. You will ensure the bar is stocked, spaces are clean and prepared, and guests receive seamless, anticipatory service throughout their dining experience.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or luxury dining experience, can lift moderate weights, and excel in fast-paced environments with strong guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or luxury service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent guest service, communication, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Promptly clear, clean, and reset tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
• Serve guests and deliver food items from kitchen to tables.
• Stock side stations with linen, china, glassware, paper goods, and supplies.
• Replenish bar requisitions (beer, liquor, soda, garnishes, ice).
• Break down and reset side stations and back-of-house areas.
• Follow Four Seasons standards of conduct as outlined in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously with coworkers, leadership, and other departments.
• Assist with wine/beer selections and guest water service as needed.

About the Role

At Four Seasons Nashville, our Bar Back plays a key role in supporting exceptional bar and restaurant service. This position ensures our bar team is fully stocked, our spaces are clean and prepared, and our guests receive seamless, anticipatory service throughout their dining experience.

What You Will Do

• Promptly clear, clean, and reset tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware in a discreet and efficient manner.
• Anticipate guest needs, confirm satisfaction, and respond urgently and professionally to guest concerns or requests.
• Pick up food items from the kitchen, verify accuracy and presentation, and deliver to guests.
• Stock side stations with linens, china, glassware, silverware, paper goods, and other supplies.
• Replenish bar requisitions including beer, liquor, soda, juices, garnishes, and ice for bartenders.
• Break down, clean, and re-set side stations and back-of-house areas.
• Follow Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers, leadership, and other departments.
• Prepare garnishes, assist with wine/beer selections and glassware, and help with guest water service as needed.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or a luxury environment preferred.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong guest service skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
