Major Food Group, the team behind Carbone, is hiring barbacks for Contessa in the Design District, Miami.

Contessa Miami offers Northern Italian cuisine and aims to provide guests with a memorable dining experience. Ideal candidates should be passionate, knowledgeable about food, wine, and service.

Responsibilities

1. Assist bartenders with setup and organization of the bar before opening.
2. Ensure the bar is stocked with liquor, mixers, glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
3. Replenish beverages and ingredients during shifts.
4. Clean and polish glassware, utensils, and equipment.
5. Clear empty glasses and bottles, dispose of waste properly.
6. Prepare garnishes for drinks.
7. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area.
8. Restock storage areas such as liquor cabinets and refrigerators.

Requirements

1. Stand/walk for 8 hours; able to bend, push, pull, lift 30 lbs.
2. Work on-site during nights, weekends, and holidays.
3. Operate POS system accurately and efficiently.
