Job summary

Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, OR seeks a Barback to support hotel bar operations and provide excellent guest service at CWCR venues.

You will maintain bar supplies, assist bartenders, and help with event setups, while adhering to OLCC rules and company standards. Must be 21+, with required licenses and permits pursued within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Must obtain Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
• Must have OLCC temporary permit before start date and obtain OLCC Permit within 45 days.
• Must have Food Handlers Permit within 30 days.
• Must obtain VIP Permit within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary guest service to all CWCR guests.
• Maintain, transport, and restock bar supplies including beer, liquor, wine, and mixes.
• Assist bartenders by washing glasses, cleaning bar area, and stocking ice.
• Monitor and track product waste.
• Set up and tear down portable bar systems for events.
• Assist other staff as needed on the gaming floor.

Position Summary

Responsible for providing exemplary guest service to all CWCR guests while ensuring the needs of all bars are met including maintain, transporting, and delivering products, beer, liquor, wine, and supplies.

Essential Functions

• Provides exemplary guest service to all CWCR guests.
• Maintains, transports, and restocks beer, liquor, wine, mixes, fruit and all other bar needs.
• Supports bartenders by washing and putting away glasses, cleaning bar area, stocking ice, etc.
• Monitors, controls, and tracks all product waste.
• Adheres to all OLCC and Chinook Winds Casino Resort policies and procedures regarding alcohol service.
• Maintains, transports, and delivers products, beer, liquor and wine inventory to bar and service locations.
• Sets up and tears down portable bar systems in convention center, and other specialty events.
• Assists other floor personnel on an as needed basis.
• Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards.
• Maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs, and services.
• Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services.
• Assists the bartenders on the gaming floors as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
