Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Barback to support a fast-paced hospitality team. You will help keep the bar fully stocked, assist with batching cocktails, and ensure a smooth flow of service while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, bar, hospitality or high-volume service is preferred but not required.
• Availability for to work at least 30 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar fully stocked with ice, glassware, spirits, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies.
• Prepare and batch cocktails according to company recipes and standards.
• Restock and organize the bar to maximize speed and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.
• Support bartenders by anticipating needs before they become urgent.
• Assist with opening, closing, inventory, and daily prep responsibilities.
• Wash and polish glassware while maintaining presentation standards.
• Take ownership of bar readiness before, during, and after every shift.

What You'll Do

As a Barback, you'll help create exceptional experiences by:

• Keeping the bar fully stocked with ice, glassware, spirits, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
• Preparing and batching cocktails according to company recipes and standards
