Job summary

Lucky's Iron Door Roadhouse in Jordan Landing, West Jordan, UT is hiring a Barback. You’ll keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready for high-volume service, anticipate bartender needs, and help move drinks and supplies efficiently.

No previous bar or restaurant experience is required. We’ll train the right person. This is a great starting point in hospitality, with opportunities to grow into bartending as you prove your reliability, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the bar stocked with ice, glassware, beverages, liquor, beer, garnishes, and supplies.
• Anticipate what bartenders need before they have to ask.
• Restock products throughout service.
• Clear and clean glassware and bar areas quickly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked work areas.
• Change kegs and assist with other beverage-related tasks.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the bar.
• Help prepare the bar before service and reset it after service.
• Communicate continuously with bartenders, servers, managers, and other team members.
• Assist with guest needs when appropriate and make sure requests reach the correct person.
• Jump in wherever needed when the bar gets busy.
• Learn how a professional, high-volume bar operates from the inside.

But behind every great bartender is someone making sure they have everything they need to be great.

That's the Barback.

At Lucky's Iron Door Roadhouse, our Barbacks are the engine behind the bar. They're stocking, cleaning, anticipating, communicating, moving, and solving problems before most people even realize there was a problem.

When the bar is packed and everything is running smoothly, there's probably a great Barback somewhere behind it making that happen.

No previous restaurant or bar experience is required.

We'll train the right person.

This position pays hourly plus tips, with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

About Lucky's Iron Door Roadhouse

Lucky's Iron Door Roadhouse opened in Jordan Landing in 2019 as the second home of the award-winning burgers that began with Lucky 13 in Salt Lake City.

We serve brunch, lunch, dinner, handcrafted cocktails, beer, and the burgers our guests have come to know us for.

Your job is to keep the bar moving.

Ice is getting low.

Work Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Day shifts: approximately 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Night shifts: approximately 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Availability for nights, weekends, and busy shifts is important.
