Job description

Des Moines Renaissance Savery is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our food and beverage team at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. Our aim is to enhance the guest experience by maintaining a lively and attentive staff committed to excellent service.

1. Stock and restock bar supplies including beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other essentials.
2. Keep the bar area clean and organized during shifts.
3. Assist bartenders with retrieving items, changing kegs, and cleaning spills.
4. Wash and polish glassware.
5. Regularly empty trash and recycling bins.
6. Sweep and mop floors in bar and storage areas daily.
7. Support bar opening, closing, and side work duties.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
9. Assist with bar service during peak hours if trained and authorized.
10. Notify management about liquor and supply requisitions.
11. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including tools and glassware.
12. Report guest complaints to management immediately.
13. Follow proper etiquette with guests.
14. Adhere to all food, beverage, and safety regulations.

Requirements
