Job summary

Opal Collection in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Barback to support the bar team and ensure supplies, garnishes, and ice are stocked for service.

This in-person role requires availability for day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays, with supplemental pay from tips. Previous Food & Beverage experience is preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent is recommended.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Preferred).
• Previous Food & Beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bar supplies are stocked and available.
• Restock bar supplies including beverages and garnishes.
• Change kegs as necessary.
• Clean glasses and pick up waste around the bar area.
• Wipe down tables and bar tops.
• Restock garnishes and mixes.
• Ensure glassware is clean and available.
• Restock ice when needed.
• Run food items to the bar as needed.
• Empty trash in and around the bar area.
• Maintain clean rags at each bartender’s station.

Job Duties

• Ensure bar supplies are stocked and available as back up
• Assist in restocking bar supplies including beverages and garnishes
• Change kegs as necessary
• Clean and pick up empty glasses/bottles from tables and surrounding areas
• Wipe down tables and bar tops
• Re-stock garnishes and mixes
• Ensure glassware is clean and available
• Re-stock ice when needed
• Run food items to the bar as needed
• Empty trash in and around the bar area
• Maintain clean rags in each bartender’s station

Schedule

• 6-8 hour shift
• Must have day and evening work availability
• Holidays
• Must have weekend work availability
