Job summary

Ci Siamo - Boston is seeking a Barback to join our upcoming waterfront location in the Seaport area. You’ll support the Bar and Service teams by stocking, prepping garnishes, and maintaining a clean, organized bar environment to ensure moments of hospitality for guests.

The role requires 2+ years of Barback experience in a full-service restaurant, the ability to stand for long periods, and the strength to lift up to 30 lbs. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Barback in a full-service restaurant.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.

• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests at the bar
• Stock the bar with necessary product and service tools
• Prepare necessary garnishes, syrups, juices, and/or batches

Ci Siamo is a restaurant from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group and James Beard semifinalist Chef Hillary Sterling. Located at Manhattan West, this NYT Top 100 restaurant celebrates the beauty of simplicity centering around live-fire cooking. The Italian-inflected menu takes inspiration from Chef Sterling’s extensive travels and is rooted in the understated excellence of seasonal ingredients and purposeful preparations. Ci Siamo, which loosely translates to “we’ve made it” or “we’ve arrived,” bridges the traditional with the contemporary to introduce a new space that is at once transportive yet warmly familiar.

Who you are:

The Barback is an important partner to our Bar and Service teams and is responsible for ensuring that our Bar team has everything they need in order to create memorable moments of hospitality for our guests. The Barback is also responsible for keeping all components of the bar area clean, organized, and stocked.
