Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You is hiring barback staff to support our bartenders and front-of-house team in a fast-paced Lincoln Park-area restaurant. Barbacks will stock the bar, assist with glassware, ice, and supplies, and help with bussing and side work as directed.

The role involves excellent guest interaction, the ability to multitask, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards in a vibrant dining environment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work a variety of hours, including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand/walk for an entire shift in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock/restock bar, glassware, ice and supplies.
• Assist bartender with side work, glass washing, bussing and restocking.
• Interact with guests, greet them warmly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and assist with duties as assigned.
