Job summary

The Village Dallas is seeking a motivated Barback to join our team, supporting bartenders and ensuring smooth bar operations while upholding high service standards. Responsibilities include restocking garnishes, glassware, ice, and supplies; assisting with opening/closing; learning menu items; taking orders and processing payments during peak hours.

Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum age to serve alcohol.

• Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with opening and closing duties, restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins.
• Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Checking taps and appliances, making minor repairs or changing kegs if needed.
• Keeping the bar clean, wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and handling glassware.
• Learning menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes.
• Taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments during peak hours.
• Maintaining records and reporting usage to assist reordering and storage.
