Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Barback to support bartenders by stocking, cleaning, and transporting product. You will restock garnishes and glassware, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean, safe bar area. The role requires adaptability to shift needs and strong guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Requires constant standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Assists with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
• Delivers product and uses transfer sheets to maintain inventory integrity
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains appearance of workstations and guest service areas
• Ensures bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer
• Checks taps and appliances to ensure that they are working properly and changing out kegs
• Keeps the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles
• Maintains excellent guest service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
