Job summary

The George Washington University Law School seeks an Assistant Program Director, Bar Support to coordinate bar exam resources for students and alumni, and to lead programs around MPRE preparation. The role includes teaching a credit-bearing bar success course and overseeing program assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree or higher.
• Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
• Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Preferred: JD or Master's Degree (e.g. MBA, MS in Counseling).
• Experience with academic support and bar preparation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Research bar exam processes across jurisdictions and share accessible guidance.
• Design in-person, hybrid, and recorded bar preparation programs.
• Create newsletters and instructional content on state bar requirements and MPRE.
• Counsel students on bar exam strategies and MPRE procedures.
• Provide writing, organizational, and analytical support to students and alumni.
