Job summary

TC Restaurant Group is seeking a Barback in Nashville, TN to assist the bar team, stock inventory, and maintain clean, organized back-of-house areas throughout the venue. The role requires physical activity, opening/closing duties, and safe handling of stock.

You will support guest service with a positive attitude and uphold liquor compliance. Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be 21+, and hold an ABC Server’s Permit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States – 21+ years
• Possession of ABC Server’s Permit
• Maintain professional, neat appearance per Company standards
• Knowledge of basic bar and restaurant operations and liquor/beer/wine brands
• Knowledge of drink recipes, garnishes, lifting techniques and inventory rotation

Responsibilities

• Prepares syrups, mixes, and garnishes
• Ensure opening, running, and closing duties are completed
• Maintain par levels for liquor, beer, wine and consumables; report shortages
• Rotate liquor, beer, wine and consumables properly
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment
• Keep bar tops and back bar clean and organized
• Polish and wash glassware
• Clean spills, mop, and dispose of trash properly
• Maintain visibility and atmosphere in work area
• Provide professional, friendly guest services and respond to inquiries
• Monitor intoxicated or disruptive guests and inform management
• Comply with health, safety and liquor laws and SOPs
• Report incidents of theft or guest complaints
• Performs other duties as assigned
