Job summary

Willie’s Grill & Ice House in San Antonio is hiring a Bar Service (Counter) Team Member to deliver friendly, prompt service at the counter and in the dining area. You will know the menu, assist guests, and help maintain a clean, efficient workstation.

No experience required strictly, 6 months to 2 years preferred; alcohol and food handler certificates are required. This fast-paced, family-friendly Texas icehouse invites energetic teammates to grow in hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• Alcohol Certification and Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and handle money accurately.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive, cooperative attitude with excellent guest service focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, timely, and courteous service to guests at the counter and throughout the restaurant.
• Know the menu, wines, beers, and cocktails to make helpful recommendations.
• Follow company policies, including sanitation, dress code, and service guidelines.
• Take and deliver beverage orders accurately, including alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks.
• Assist fellow team members to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and perform side work as required.
• Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures and promptly notify management of any concerns.
• Welcome and thank guests warmly, inviting them to return.
