Job summary

White Rabbit Bar is hiring for a security role to safeguard guests and staff in a busy San Francisco venue known for its cocktail bar and nightlife.

Responsibilities include door ID checks, enforcing policies, patrolling the bar area, de-escalating conflicts, and reporting hazards while maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere. California Guard Card and 1-year security experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year bar, nightclub or hospitality security experience.
• Must possess current California Guard Card at time of hire.
• Must be familiar with federal, state and local liquor laws.
• Basic knowledge of foods, service standards and procedures.
• Diplomatic and calm with strong verbal communication skills.
• Courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
• Good team player. Customer service focus. Able to work productively with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Check all guest IDs at the door.
• Follow security protocols as directed by Manager on Duty/Lead Security.
• Inform Manager on Duty of guest comments and complaints.
• Enforce and comply with all PlumpJack policies and procedures.
• Patrol bar property and note any problem areas or unusual activity.
• Deescalate fights and escort/remove trespassers when necessary.
• Greet guests and ensure safety and satisfaction as needed.
• Report hazards and hazardous conditions to prevent injuries.
