Job summary

Illinois Tech seeks an energetic educator to direct its Bar Success Programs, designing and implementing bar readiness initiatives for JD students at Chicago-Kent College of Law. The Director will collaborate with faculty and staff to provide customized advising, coaching, and instructional support.

Responsibilities include program development, data tracking, and presenting bar-related workshops across the fall and spring semesters.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to advise and coach JD students on bar readiness.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse audiences.
• Experience teaching or counseling in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Bar Success Programs and design bar-related programming.
• Provide tailored advising and coaching for at-risk JD students.
• Develop and teach bar-related classes and seminars.
• Track bar passage data and report outcomes for accreditation.
