Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Bar Porter to join the ARIA team in Las Vegas. You will stock and serve beverages, keep glassware and supplies replenished, and maintain a clean, efficient bar environment while delivering outstanding guest service in a premier resort setting.

Ideal candidates are 21+ and have experience in a similar resort environment. The role offers growth opportunities and integrates with elevated hospitality standards that define ARIA and MGM Resorts.

Responsibilities

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets and maintain inventory levels.
• Support bar operations, sanitation, and cleanliness of beverage areas.
• Handle bar transfers, dry stock deliveries, and proper paperwork.
• Ensure correct routes for deliveries and assist with setup/breakdown of portable bars.
• Resolve guest concerns and report unusual events to management.

THE JOB

As a Bar Porter at ARIA, you will support efficient beverage operations by ensuring glassware, beer, condiments, paper products, and other essential bar supplies are fully stocked and readily available. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared bar environment while providing exceptional guest service and supporting the elevated hospitality standards that define ARIA.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain assigned levels of inventory, including delivery and stock of glassware,
• condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep
• cleaning, sanitation, and work area, including cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors
• Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries
• Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in the cooler and dry storage area, ordering as needed responsible for set-up and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas
• Ensure the use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets
• Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses, and
• identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify the Supervisor or
• Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

• Preferably has experience in a similiar resort environment
