PENN Entertainment in Joliet, IL is seeking a service-oriented bartender to join our dynamic team. You will maintain bar stock, assist bartenders, and provide friendly, timely service to guests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some food/bar service experience preferred.
• Must understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate stock and glasses for the bar.
• Assist with beverage deliveries and bar area cleanliness.
• Provide high level of customer service to guests and team members.
• Remove trash and clean bars; mop and sweep storeroom and walk-in coolers.
• Replace CO2 tanks, beer kegs, and soda boxes; deep clean bars aboard and on land.
• Maintain bars in compliance with Illinois Liquor Commission and Health Department standards.
• Stock bars, respond to bartender requests for stock, monitor stock levels.
• Retrieve bar supplies from storage and rotate stock.
• Wash glasses and keep ice bin filled.
• Assist bartenders and deliver stock as needed.
• Provide friendly, quick, professional service to guests.
• Notify managers of equipment problems and follow safety rules.
