Responsibilities

• Handle CO2 tanks, kegs, and soda boxes; deep clean bars.
• Maintain bars in compliance with liquor and health standards.
• Stock bars, respond to bartender requests, monitor stock levels.
• Retrieve supplies and rotate stock.
• Wash glasses; keep ice bin filled.
• Assist bartenders and deliver friendly service.
• Notify managers of equipment issues.
• Follow safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate supply of stock and glasses for the bar.
• Assists with beverage deliveries and maintains cleanliness of the bar area.
• This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and team members.
• Removes the trash and cleans bars; mops and sweeps the storeroom and walk-in coolers.
• Removes all empty CO2 tanks, beer kegs, and soda boxes to proper locations; responsible for deep cleaning of bars on the barge and land.
• Maintains clean, working bars in accordance with Illinois Liquor Commission and Health Department standards.
• Stocks bars, responds to bartender requests for stock, and checks bar to monitor stock levels.
• Retrieves bar supplies from the storage area and stocks and rotates the bar as required.
• Washes the glasses and ensures the ice bin is filled.
• Assists the bartenders.
• Provides friendly, quick, professional service to guests and co-workers.
• Changes CO2 tanks, beer kegs, and soda boxes.
• Assists with the delivery of the stock.
• Cleans and maintains break rooms (boat porters).
• Maintains and cleans break room soda machine.
• Assists cocktail servers on glass removal.
• Notifies managers of equipment problems.
• Follows safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required with some food/bar service experience preferred.
• Must understand and speak the English language.
