Job summary

Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is seeking a Bar Porter to ensure bars are fully stocked and manage inventory while delivering friendly guest service.

You will need strong communication, the ability to lift moderate weight, and the stamina to stand and walk for long periods. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required, and basic computer use is expected.

The Bar Porter is primarily responsible for ensuring bars are fully stocked and completing inventory. This person must have good communication skills, the ability to lift a moderate amount of weight, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. This is a fast-paced position that will involve customer interaction, organizational skills, ability to use technology as well as basic understanding of alcoholic beverages, mixers, and other beverages. This person must have flexibility to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.6875 per hour, with increases at six months and one year.
