BURG'r & BARREL is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our beverage operations in Johnson City. You will guide a mid-sized team, craft schedules, train staff, and drive beverage innovation while maintaining profitability and guest satisfaction.

We value hands-on leadership, guest-focused hospitality, and a passion for creating memorable bar experiences. This role is full-time with 40–50 hours per week and two days off.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of bar management or beverage leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, cocktails, and beverage service.
• Experience with inventory, beverage costs, scheduling, and staff development.
• Proven ability to lead a team and maintain high service standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and guest-focused problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 5–6 bartenders and one barback.
• Create schedules that balance service excellence with labor costs.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members; set clear expectations.
• Oversee daily bar operations, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor costs, waste, profitability, and labor efficiency; maintain records.
• Develop cocktails, seasonal menus, and promotions to grow sales.
• Build guest relationships and maintain a welcoming, high-service atmosphere.

BURG'r & BARREL is looking for an experienced, energetic, and creative Bar Manager to lead our beverage operations and help take our bar program to the next level.

With both an indoor and outdoor bar, an established customer base, and a strong presence in Johnson City, we're looking for someone who can build on our success while bringing fresh ideas, new energy, and a passion for exceptional hospitality.

We're not looking for someone to simply maintain the bar. We're looking for someone who wants to make it better.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who takes ownership, leads by example, connects with guests, and understands that a successful bar is about more than making great drinks. It's about creating an atmosphere people want to return to.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 5–6 bartenders and one barback.
• Create schedules that balance exceptional service with responsible labor costs.
• Recruit, train, and develop talented team members.
• Establish clear expectations and hold the team accountable.
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.

Bar Operations & Financial Performance

• Oversee daily operations of both indoor and outdoor bars.
• Manage beverage inventory, ordering, product rotation, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor liquor costs, waste, profitability, and labor efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and financial reporting.
• Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service.
• Work alongside the team during busy shifts and lead by example.

Creativity, Sales & Growth

• Develop new cocktails, seasonal drink menus, and beverage specials.
• Bring fresh ideas that keep our bar program exciting and relevant.
• Identify opportunities to attract new customers and increase repeat business.
• Collaborate with management on promotions, special events, and revenue‑building initiatives.
• Stay informed about beverage trends and changing guest preferences.
• Take initiative in finding ways to improve the overall guest experience.

Hospitality & Guest Experience

• Build genuine relationships with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Be a visible, approachable leader who enjoys interacting with customers.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively.
• Create memorable experiences that turn first‑time visitors into regulars.
• Maintain a high standard of hospitality across both bar areas.
