Job summary

Left Lane Hospitality Group, LLC is seeking a Bar Lead for The Green Room at Hotel Bardo Savannah. This on-site, full-time role leads a high-volume luxury bar team and ensures polished service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to beverage standards.

You will guide shift operations, support bartenders, prepare cocktails and beverages, and maintain bar setup and cleanliness while delivering thoughtful hospitality across busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in upscale, luxury, craft cocktail or high-volume full-service environment.
• Strong cocktail, spirits, wine and beverage knowledge.
• Previous lead, trainer or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Natural leadership presence with the ability to provide direction and maintain standards with a team-first approach.
• Confident decision-maker who remains composed during busy service periods.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of a busy bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver polished, engaging bar service while upholding The Green Room and Hotel Bardo service standards.
• Serve as the designated shift leader when the Bar Supervisor is not present, maintaining standards and accountability.
• Support bartenders and barbacks during service, directing priorities and stepping in where needed.
• Anticipate guest preferences and personalize the experience through thoughtful hospitality.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and efficiency.
• Ensure proper bar setup, cleanliness, stocking, glassware and garnishes.
• Maintain consistency in beverage preparation, presentation and pacing; ensure responsible service.
• Address guest concerns with confidence and good judgment and involve leadership when needed.
• Communicate important shift updates and team needs to Bar Supervisor and leadership.
• Help reinforce beverage knowledge, service expectations and procedures with the bar team.
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities and prepare The Green Room for the next service.

About The Role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Bar Lead to join the team at The Green Room, our lobby bar and gathering place at the heart of the hotel.

This is an onsite position located at Hotel Bardo Savannah.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver polished, engaging bar service while serving as a visible example of The Green Room and Hotel Bardo service standards
• Serve as the designated shift leader when the Bar Supervisor is not present, helping maintain service standards, organization and accountability throughout the shift
• Support bartenders and barbacks during service, directing priorities and stepping in wherever needed to keep service flowing
• Anticipate guest preferences and personalize the experience through thoughtful, intuitive hospitality
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, efficiency and consistency
• Ensure proper bar setup, cleanliness, stocking, glassware, garnishes and overall presentation throughout service
• Maintain consistency in beverage preparation, presentation, pacing and responsible alcohol service
• Address guest concerns with confidence and good judgment, resolving issues when appropriate and involving leadership when necessary
• Communicate important shift updates, operational concerns, guest feedback and team needs to the Bar Supervisor and Food & Beverage leadership
• Help reinforce beverage knowledge, service expectations and proper procedures with the bar team
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities and help ensure The Green Room is prepared for the next service
