Job summary

A popular country bar in Cary, NC is seeking a dedicated porter to maintain cleanliness and enhance guest experience. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal as well as cleaning and stocking restrooms. Ideal candidates will be courteous, team-oriented, and able to lift up to 40 pounds. Availability for nights and weekends is preferred. The position offers a dynamic environment in a lively setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in the porter or janitorial field is a plus, but not required.
• Previous job references are required.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and/or holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop floors.
• Dust furniture and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers.
• Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Wash windows as scheduled.
• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
• Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements.
• Other duties as assigned.
