Job summary

The University of Denver's Sturm College of Law seeks part-time Writing Advisers to advance the DU Bar Success Program through coaching and feedback for bar takers, law students, and graduates preparing for exams. This hourly, non-benefited role not to exceed 1,000 hours per year.

Hours are flexible and could accommodate remote work, with an hourly rate of $80. The role includes collaboration with the Program Director and Team Leads to deliver high-quality feedback and coaching to improve bar

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent legal degree required.
• Licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Prior experience in legal practice or academic support where high-level legal writing and analysis were primary functions.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Track Changes/Comments) and comfort navigating LMS such as Canvas.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Director and Assistant Director.
• Communicate with Team Leads to ensure timely, high-quality feedback to graduates.
• Provide individualized feedback to answers from mock bar exams and workshops.
