The University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law seeks part-time, hourly coaches to advance the DU Bar Success program by coaching graduates through bar exam preparation. This non-benefited position is capped at 1,000 hours per calendar year and offers flexible hours, including remote work possibilities.

Responsibilities include meeting with students, tracking progress, and potentially leading small groups and proctoring mock exams, all while supporting program leadership.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent legal degree is required.
• Outstanding written and oral communications skills are essential.
• Strong organizational and project management skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and providing comments on Word documents.
• Licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction is required; Colorado license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support the Program Director and Assistant Director.
• Coach students and graduates through bar exam preparation.
• Track meetings and document progress of bar studiers.
• Facilitate small group memorization sessions if needed.
• Proctor mock bar exams on site when required.
