Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center in Arlington, TX is seeking a diligent dining service assistant to support restaurant operations and guest service throughout the shift.

You will stock supplies, prep service ware, assist servers, clear tables, and help maintain cleanliness and safety in all dining areas. A high school diploma and ability to lift 35+ pounds are required; flexible weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, lift and carry trays weighing 35+ pounds repeatedly.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and maintains supplies in all service areas.
• Inspects and prepares all service ware prior to use.
• Clears soiled plates, service ware etc. from service areas and tables to dish wash area, sorts appropriately.
• Cleans and pre-sets tables with all service ware.
• Greets guests and assists Server with delivery of water and beverages.
• Removes unneeded place settings from occupied tables.
• Carries trays of food from kitchen to table.
• May assist Server in presentation of meals for large parties and during periods of heavy volume.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitary condition of dining room and service areas.
• Assists in completion of post meal clean up and side work duties.
• Other duties as assigned
