Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Bartender for the Food, Business and Entertainment branch. The role involves operating a bar that serves malt beverages and mixed drinks, preparing beverages to order, maintaining stock, and handling cash and POS transactions with adherence to safety and health standards.

The position requires readiness for irregular shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, plus background checks and health certifications.

Competenze

• Knowledge to mix and serve beverages from a bar using a variety of liquors, soda, beer and wine.
• Ability to recognize shortages of supplies and ensure timely replacement.
• Ability to maintain and collect tabs and operate a POS system to process payments.
• Must meet certification for safe alcohol serving and food handling per program standards.

Mansioni

• Serves beer and wine and mixes drinks to order, following established recipes.
• Maintains bar stock and handles cash and inventory during the period worked.
• Operates a point-of-sale system to process and receive payments.
• Makes change and manages the cash fund.
