Job summary

Shaner Hotels at Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Beaufort in Beaufort, NC is seeking a Hospitality Team Member for our opening restaurant and bar.

Take orders, prepare and serve beverages and light meals, maintain stock and cleanliness, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction. The role requires a friendly, reliable professional with a year of restaurant/F&B experience and basic math. Bilingual EN/ES is a plus, and training in ServSafe and TIPS is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Restaurant/Food & Beverage.
• Must meet state age requirement to serve alcohol.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating manuals.
• Ability to communicate with guests and staff.
• Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) a plus.
• Familiarity with cost controls.
• Bilingual EN/ES is a plus.
• HS diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of outlet and equipment; ensure safety and quality per standards.
