Clive Collective in Tiburon, California is seeking a Bar Back to support bartenders and keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready for service.

You will anticipate needs, manage inventory, and assist with opening and closing duties to help run beverages or food when needed, ensuring a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate the needs of Bartenders and proactively provide support throughout service
• Maintain constant awareness of bar flow, stepping in without being asked to ensure efficiency
• Communicate clearly with the bar team to support timing and execution
• Keep the bar fully stocked with all necessary products including ice, glassware, garnishes, spirits, beer, and wine
• Prepare garnishes, juices, and batching components according to standards
• Replenish inventory continuously throughout service to avoid disruptions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and polished bar environment at all times
• Clear glassware, clean surfaces, and manage dish flow efficiently
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and workspaces are properly maintained and service-ready
• Assist Bartenders with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the bar
• Support with restocking wine & liquor, and maintaining storage areas
• Handle trash, recycling, and overall upkeep of bar-related areas
• Assist with running beverages or food when needed to support overall restaurant flow
• Step into additional responsibilities as directed by management to ensure seamless operations
