The Adolphus – City Hall Bistro in Dallas seeks a Bar Back to support a fast-paced, high-quality beverage program. You will stock, clean, and organize the bar, ensuring glassware and ingredients are ready for service. Communication with bartenders keeps service smooth and orders accurate.

Responsabilités

• Stock, clean, and organize the bar to support seamless service.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders to keep service flowing.
• Monitor six key items: ice, juice, syrups, mixers, spirits, glassware and bar top cleanliness.
• Restock proactively and troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest area and back bar, waste bins, and floors.
• Develop knowledge of the menu and brand standards to meet expectations.

Behind every glass of cabernet or craft cocktail is the attention to detail that makes an experience truly memorable. The Bar Back serves as the quiet engine of the bistro, efficiently stocking, cleaning, and organizing the bar while communicating seamlessly with bartenders to keep service flowing without interruption.

Requested Tasks

• Keep eyes on the critical six at all times: ice, juice, syrups and mixers, spirits, glassware, and bar top cleanliness
• Anticipate which items need restocking during a shift, acting before anything runs out
• Understand bar equipment and troubleshoot problems on the fly, from low CO2 in tap lines to dishwasher cycling and changing beer keys
• Maintain cleanliness from every angle: the guest-facing bar top, the back bar where spirits and supplies live, waste bins, and floors
• Develop thorough knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings, along with a supporting understanding of the brand vision and quality standards
