Job summary

Cohn Restaurant Group is seeking a Bar Back at our Harbor Island venue in San Diego, CA. You will stock ice, juice, liquor, beer and wine, cut and stock garnishes, and maintain a clean bar area in a high-energy setting.

The position is hourly, with a pay rate of $17.75 per hour, requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Experience in a fast-paced bar environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of spirits, beer and wine including brand names and garnishes.

Job description

C-Level is a full service restaurant serving lunch and dinner daily. Located on Harbor Island, this casual waterfront eatery offers bistro-style fare, cocktails and wine.

Bar Back

Responsibilities

• Stock ice for all drink wells
• Stock juice, liquor, beer and wine
• Cut and stock fruit and garnishes for drinks
• Change out kegs
• Wipe down bar tops, counters and tables
• Collect dirty glassware and dishes
• Empty trash cans
• Maintain clean and orderly service areas and complete side work duties
• Comply with established safety and sanitation standards
• Adhere to company policies and standard procedures

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a high energy and fast paced work environment
• Able to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Requires a good sense of prioritization and organizational skills
