Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel is seeking a bar back to support bartenders by stocking and replenishing bar supplies and maintaining a clean, welcoming bar area. You will learn drink preparations and alcohol awareness procedures while delivering friendly guest service.

Schedule includes weekend and weekday shifts with daytime hours; opportunities for growth and advancement are highlighted in the role description.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to listen and understand basic information and ideas in spoken English.
• Ability to perform cash handling procedures.
• Ability to learn drink preparations and Alcohol Awareness procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides and replenishes bars with an adequate supply of all products needed to efficiently operate the bar. Rotates beer, fills reach-in refrigerators, washes and stocks glassware, maintains stock of fruit fill and replaces as needed.
• Keeps the bar area clean and sanitary, assists the bartender with duties to ensure guest service, fills ice bins, empties garbage, wipes surfaces, checks kegs, replaces dirty bar mats, sweeps floors, wipes bottles, cleans spouts and drains, and ice bins.
• Occasional tasks.

Job Overview:

Supplies bars with bar supplies such as ice, mixers, glassware, condiments, wine, beer, liquor and other necessary supplies for bar operation. Applies high guest service standards.

Sun, Mon. Wed, Thurs | 9:30am-6:00pm

Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:

• Provides and replenishes bars with an adequate supply of all products needed to efficiently operate the bar. Rotate beer and fill reach in refrigerators, wash and stock glassware, maintain stock of fruit fill and replace as needed.
• Ensure that the bar area is kept clean and sanitary offering assistance to the bartender for all duties necessary to ensure good guest service. This includes filling ice bins, emptying garbage, wiping/picking up surfaces as time allows, checking kegs, replacing dirty bar mats, sweeping floors, wiping down bottles, cleaning spouts, beer drains, counter drains and ice bins.
