Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in beverage service and guest interaction.
• Ability to accurately handle payments and make change.
• Knowledge of standard bar recipes and garnishes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bar prior to opening to ensure supplies are on hand.
• Greet guests and take beverage orders.
• Prepare garnishes, mixed and pre-mixed drinks; mix and serve drinks.
• Check back with member/guest to ensure satisfaction.
• Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, and other charges on all bills.
• Present bill to members/guests; handle all member charges as prescribed by procedures.
• Maintain and clean bar area; stock and prepare liquor, beers, and wines.
• Advise supervisor of complaints as they occur.
• Ensure compliance with state/local liquor laws and club policies.
• Run end-of-evening reports and close tickets as required.
