Job summary

CHRA Fort Sill NAF is seeking a bartender for the Patriot Club at Fort Sill. The role involves setting up bars, handling cash, and stocking the service bar, while ensuring transactions are accurately recorded.

You will identify and resolve any unruly behavior in accordance with procedures, prepare a limited selection of alcoholic beverages, and perform other duties as assigned. Eligibility includes age and background checks as described in the vacancy notice.

Qualifications

• Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment.
• Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
• Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
• Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Sets up bars for operation, obtains cash bank and stocks service bar.
• Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips.
• Identifies persons who become unruly or who appear intoxicated, resolves the problem or seeks assistance in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
