Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Youngstown Downtown is seeking a skilled Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage and food service in a fast-paced bar/restaurant setting. You will engage guests, manage bar inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of bartending experience, extensive knowledge of drinks, and excellent customer service. This property-based role requires strong multitasking and teamwork in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years bartending experience required; full-service bar experience preferred.
• Alcohol service certification preferred or required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide beverage service at bar and restaurant.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per recipes and standards.
• Provide table-side or bar service including food/beverage delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Follow cash handling and POS procedures.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen for smooth service.
