The Bar/Kitchen Manager oversees the daily operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service, quality customer experiences, inventory control, and staff management. This role involves creating drink menus, managing stock, maintaining compliance, and leading the bar and kitchen team to uphold brand standards and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day restaurant operations and staff performance.
Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate bartenders, bar staff and kitchen help.
Monitor bar inventory; manage orders, deliveries, and stock rotation.
Create and update cocktail, beverage and food menus with creativity and seasonal flair.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
Handle customer concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Track sales and cost performance; analyze bar and food revenue and implement cost controls.
Oversee cash handling procedures, Clover POS operations, and daily closeouts.
Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams for seamless service.
Promote specials, events, or promotions to drive sales and engagement.
Work with in house event planner to staff and provide for golf related and special events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bar or Restaurant industry experience (3+ years)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Solid knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Experience with POS systems (e.g., Clover, Toast, or similar)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress
Basic budgeting and inventory skills
ServSafe Alcohol Certification and/or Servsafe food certification (or local equivalent)
Preferred Qualities:
Creative mindset for drinks and presentation.
Understanding of Food Menus and service standards and practices.
Experience in event planning or promotions.
Understanding of labor laws and bar licensing.
Passion for hospitality and team culture.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
