Job summary

Trump International Beach Resort is seeking a banquet server to assist with event setup, including table settings and service to guests during functions.

The role includes garnishing dishes, presenting beverages, and anticipating guests' requests. It requires standing for long periods and may involve working nights, weekends, and holidays to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Must be 18 years of age to serve liquor in Florida.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare function room for banquet function; set tables and place settings.
• Serve drink of choice to guests.
• Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Suggest desserts, beverages and after dinner drinks.
• Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee and perform other services as needed.
• Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course.
• Adhere to Trump International Beach Resort Standards; Safety and Sanitation Standards.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.
