Job summary

Forbes Hospitality in Detroit is seeking enthusiastic banquet servers to provide an excellent guest experience at events. All applicants must be able to take direction, work well with others, and maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities include setting up rooms, polishing silverware and glassware, serving food and beverages, managing food stations, and clearing dishes throughout the event. Friday and Saturday evening availability is a must, background checks are required, and

Responsibilities

• Stay guest focused to provide an excellent guest experience.
• Set up room prior to events (polishing silverware, glassware) and prepare coffee/food stations.
• Serve food and beverages throughout the event (pass appetizers, serve entrees).
• Maintain a clean and clear section and clear dishes as needed.
• Assist with breakdown of the event at the end of the evening (remove linens, clear dishes).

Friday & Saturday evening availability is a must!

Previous banquet experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay guest focused to provide an excellent guest experience
• Set-up room prior to events (i.e. polishing silverware and glassware, setting up coffee and food stations)
• Serve food throughout event (i.e. managing food stations, passing appetizers, serving entrée courses, providing table side non-alcoholic beverage service)
• Maintain a clean and clear section as assigned by the banquet manager (i.e. continuously monitoring your tables and clearing dishes as needed)
• Assist with breakdown of the event at the end of the evening (i.e. removing linens, clearing dishes)
