Hyatt Regency Columbus is seeking a Banquet Steward to maintain cleanliness and organization of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware, and to support event operations across the property. This role involves inventory tasks, timely replenishment, and collaboration with stewarding leadership.

You will be part of a dynamic hotel environment, with opportunities to grow within Hyatt’s global team. The schedule includes evenings, weekends, and potential holidays in a fast-paced banquet setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel Food & Beverage or banquet is preferred.
• Able to lift and push a moderate amount of weight.
• Capable of standing for long periods.
• Team environment suited to hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hotel china, silverware, and cookware.
• Assist stewarding manager and supervisor with inventory.
• Ensure timely replenishment of food and supplies.
• Deliver china, silverware, cookware, and food for events.
• Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
• Adapt to a fast-paced setting with standing and walking.
• Support colleagues during event setups and breakdowns.

What does the ROLE entail?

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel China, silverware, and cookware
• Assists stewarding manager & supervisor with keeping an organized accurate inventory throughout the hotel areas
• Ensure food replenishment is handled in a timely manner
• Ability to work within a team oriented environment
• Fast-paced environment that requires moderate amounts of walking and continuous standing
• Timely and accurate delivery of China, silverware, cookware and food for event functions within the hotel

Your EXPERIENCE:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Previous hotel experience in Food & beverage, banquet or stewarding setting highly preferred
• Ability to lift and push a moderate amount of weight
• Capable of standing for long periods of time
• Able to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
• Takes pride in a job well done
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings (3pm-12am), weekends, and potential holidays
• A fun and energized person
