Job summary

HCW Hospitality in Scottsdale is seeking a Banquet Steward to support banquet and kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, manage equipment, and assist with event prep.

You will collaborate with the banquet team to ensure smooth service, follow safety guidelines, and adapt to flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A team-player attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all banquet areas, including kitchens and dish stations, are clean and properly maintained.
• Wash, organize, and store all banquet equipment, utensils, and dishware.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet areas, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and banquet equipment during and after events.
• Monitor inventory of banquet supplies and report needs to management.
• Support the banquet team in the execution of events, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist in maintaining an organized storage area for banquet equipment.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
