Job summary

Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago seeks a Banquet Steward to support banquet operations for events at our conference center. You will assist with setup, plating, and service, ensuring timely delivery of meals and smooth banquet runs.

The role offers an hourly wage of $26.50 and benefits through Local 1 Union, with opportunities for professional growth within Hyatt's hospitality team. Applicants should be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights; prior stewarding experience

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Lift moderate weight up to 50 lbs.
• Adequate communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous hospitality or stewarding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing pull sheets and filling requisitions.
• Delivery of cold food, desserts and hot food to banquet functions.
• Running extra items/special requests to Banquets.
• Returning leftover food items from Banquet functions to kitchen.
• Preparation of plates, hotboxes for banquet functions.
• Expediting banquet functions.

Wage information
