Renaissance Allentown is seeking a dependable Banquet Houseperson to join our team. This full-time role handles setting up, maintaining, and breaking down banquet rooms and event spaces for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events.

You will assist with banquet service, clear tables, transport service items, and help with general cleanup. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in hotel, banquet, housekeeping, or event setup preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Ability to stand and perform physical tasks throughout shift.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as a team.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to guest service.

Aufgaben

• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to banquet event orders (BEOs), including tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, and other equipment.
• Break down and clean event spaces following functions, ensuring rooms are prepared for upcoming events.
• Assist banquet servers with clearing tables, removing used dishes, glassware, silverware, and linens during and after events.
• Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and other service items to designated cleaning areas.
• Assist with general banquet cleanup, including removing trash, cleaning tables, and maintaining organized event spaces.
• Move, arrange, and store banquet furniture and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, meeting spaces, storage areas, and service corridors.
• Assist with last-minute room changes and special event requests.
• Ensure all banquet setups meet hotel standards and event specifications.
• Inspect furniture and equipment for damage and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support banquet servers and other team members as needed to ensure smooth and successful events.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
