Wyndham Indianapolis West in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a reliable Banquet Set-Up Team Member to help prepare our banquet and event spaces for weddings, meetings, conferences, celebrations, and other events. You will be part of our hotel team, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, hotel, hospitality, or event experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move banquet equipment and furniture.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event diagrams, schedules, and hotel standards.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, stages, dance floors, and other equipment as needed.
• Ensure banquet and event spaces are clean, organized, attractive, and ready for guests.
• Assist with room changes and last-minute set-up requests.
• Work closely with the Banquet and Food & Beverage teams to ensure events run smoothly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked banquet storage areas.
• Safely move, transport, and store tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Complete set-up and breakdown tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
