Job summary

Seascape Beach Resort seeks a banquet setup staff member to assist in setting up and breaking down conference spaces according to BEOs and event requirements. You will handle linens, bars, buffets, and equipment while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires 1-2 years of banquet experience, strong teamwork, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a resort environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of banquet setup or serving experience is required.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
• Resort and/or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete physical setup, cleaning and arrangement of tables, linens, and equipment according to BEO.
• Set up portable bars, cocktail hours, food stations and arrange buffets when necessary.
• Manage banquet linen inventory to ensure enough items are stocked.
• Refresh meeting spaces and clean event rooms according to specifications.
• Provide excellent service to all BEOs coming in to the resort.
• Tear down meeting and event rooms daily including stripping the room and resetting per the BEO.
• Ensure all services to members are provided in a highly professional and efficient manner with strong attention to detail.
