Job summary

Hilton Bellevue is seeking a full-time Banquet Houseperson in Bellevue, WA. Responsibilities include setting up rooms, moving tables and chairs, cleaning and maintaining areas, and responding to guest requests to ensure outstanding service and profitability.

Position duties cover setting up banquet spaces, clearing tables, delivering dirty dish carts to the kitchen, tearing down after events, and maintaining cleanliness across event spaces and storage areas. Lifting up to 60 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read English and understand written instructions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Banquet and/or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, and other equipment according to room diagrams and event resumes.
• Assist with setting banquet tables for a full service meal and quickly clear dirty table settings.
• Safely transport carts of dirty dishes/flatware/glasses to kitchen for washing.
• Tear down equipment and supplies after events.
• Maintain cleanliness in event spaces, hallways, and common areas.
• Keep service corridors and storage areas clean, organized, and unobstructed.
• Read and understand room diagrams and event resumes to set up event spaces.
• Interact with other staff and event planners and respond quickly to their needs/requests.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
